Lia Honda has teamed up with 3 local charities this season to raise funds for some great causes. The 3 local based charities are Ulster County Youth Build, Boys & Girls Club of Ulster County and Seasoned Gives. The organizations took a different approach and asked Lia Honda customers for their feedback on the organization that means the most to them. People voted throughout the month and the funds were given on December 30, 2021. The Boys and Girls Club is committed to teaching life skills to the youth of Ulster County, Kingston, and Saugerties, they provide greater access to daily programs and services such as education, character and leadership, sports and recreation and the arts that have helped shape young lives in Ulster County since 1946. Ulster Youth Build servicing Ulster County and surrounding areas, provides comprehensive job training, educational, leadership development, and community development programs for out-of-school low-income young adults. Seasoned Gives aims to create lasting solutions to poverty, hunger, and social injustice through education, ownership and self-sufficiency, with a heavy focus on education and resource development for underserved populations.

“It’s great to be able to give back to the community, especially during this holiday season”, said Matt Panaro, General Manager, Lia Honda of Kingston.
