Did you know every three minutes a person is diagnosed with a blood cancer in the U.S., and every nine minutes someone dies from one?   The mission of the LLS is to cure Leukemia, Lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and Myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS is making cures happen by providing patient support services, advocating for lifesaving treatments and pioneering the most promising cancer research anywhere. And it's all happening now. Not someday, but today. Each year Team Lia, which includes sister companies Vent and BurgerFi, supports the mission of ending blood cancers by creating teams, donating and fundraising for their annual walk called “Light the Night”. This year the virtual walk took place on October 21, 2021. Part of the fundraising included a dunking co-chairs Bill Lia Jr. President of the Lia Auto Group and Rick Ostroff, CEO & President of Ostroff & Associates into a pool of water.

Lia donated $10K in 2021 and raised $7,445 in team funds for a total of $17,445 and we are still fundraising! “We know the number of charities we give to and its not always easy raising funds especially in times like today so we try to come up with fun, creative ways to raise money and awareness for important causes like LLS.”  Says Bill Lia Jr. President of Lia Auto Group.
