This year, Toyota has released a TRD Pro trim level for the 2020 Toyota Tundra, Tacoma, 4Runner, and Sequoia. These vehicles have upgrades available that were specifically designed for these four vehicles! The great thing about this is that you will not have to try and get an aftermarket part to fit your vehicle. Each year, the TRD vehicles are available in special color options. The Toyota TRD Pro lineup continues its exclusive color with the launch of their 'out of this world' color; Lunar Rock! With four different models to choose from—two SUV and two pickup truck options—the Toyota TRD Pro lineup offers incredible off-road handling and performance that will turn tough trails into easy feats. Let’s dig into the performance features and capabilities of each model below!

4Runner

The 4Runner TRD Pro is a great option for individuals who are looking to get the job done, whatever it is. 4Runner has been conquering the off-road for over 35 years and counting!

  Ready to hit the trail at a moment’s notice? The 2021 Toyota 4Runner is powered by a 270-horsepower 4.0-liter V-6 engine that is paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. Add 4WD with Active Traction Control, Multi-Terrain Select, a locking rear differential and Crawl Control to the equation and the Toyota 4Runner will deliver unrivaled adventures no matter what terrain you are faced with! Highlights of the Toyota 4Runner features list include Toyota Safety Sense™ 2.0 safety systems and a Toyota Entune™ 3.0 touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Wi-Fi Connect and Amazon Alexa.

Offroad Upgrades

The 4Runner was also outfitted with new wheels, retuned shocks, and LEDs! A first for the 4Runner lineup, all trim levels will come with standard LED headlights and fog lights. The 4Runner TRD Pro will also feature standard LED high beams. With new boots to match sports new TRD alloy flow form wheels wrapped in Nitto Terra Grappler tires. Stronger and more rigid, these wheels have an aggressive spoke design to increase ride handling and performance! Finally, the 2021 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro received upgraded shocks. The 4Runner now sports 2.5-inch Fox Internal Bypass Shocks that help make the vehicle more enjoyable during an off-road adventure!

Sequoia

The 2021 Toyota Sequoia is a full-size SUV that is ready to take on your latest adventure! The 2021 Toyota Sequoia is a full-size SUV that can seat up to seven or eight passengers depending on its configuration.

  Under the hood, you’ll find a 5.7-liter V8 engine that’s also used in the Toyota Tundra. It provides 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque. When properly equipped, the Toyota Sequoia can tow up to an impressive 7,400 lb! The Sequoia's engine is paired with a 2-speed transfer case with a low range and a Torsen limited-slip center differential that’s capable of fully locking. Ready to take your adventure off the beaten path? The Sequoia TRD Pro off-roading equipment includes a front skid plate, a four-wheel independent suspension, 18″ BBS wheels, a cat-back exhaust, and TRD tuned Fox shock absorbers. You also get the TRD badge to show off your off-roading flex.

Tacoma

The entry level into the Toyota pickup truck lineup is the mighty Tacoma, which is an ideal truck for the everyday grind and some of your weekend getaways.

The 2021 Toyota Tacoma TRD will feature a 159-horsepower 2.7-liter four-cylinder and a 278-horsepower 3.5-liter V-6. Tacoma models powered by the 3.5-liter V-6 engine will tow up to 6,800 pounds of cargo with a max payload of 1,440 pounds. The available 4WDemand Part-Time 4WD System will provide unrivaled performance on the trail! Inside the 2021 Toyota Tacoma, you will find an impressive array of features and technology that promise to take your commute to the next level. Tacoma models make safety a priority with standard Toyota Safety Sense™ driver-assist technology.
