Designed, engineered and assembled in the U.S.A. the 2021 Toyota Sienna comes completely redesigned with a bold new look and is now offered only as a hybrid. Toyota’s Hybrid System II powertrain comes standard across all trims with all-wheel drive. The fourth generation Toyota Sienna offers an array of all new tech and amenities to support  a wider array of life stages and activities. The redesigned 2021 Sienna is expected to be on sale by the end of the year. 

Sienna Features

Adding more amenities and tech with higher grades. Options for the 2021 Sienna are grouped in the LE Plus, XLE Plus, and XSE Plus packages. Rooftop carrier, cross bars, bike rack, available tow hitch and factory optional 1,500-watt inverter with 120V AC outlet to power equipment. All trims of the 2021 Sienna are rated and well equipped to tow up to 3,500 pounds.  

Safety

To safeguard your family and all of life’s adventures the 2021 Sienna comes standard with second-generation Toyota Safety Sense (TSS 2.0). The comprehensive active safety system includes:

• Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection/Lowlight Detection

The Pre-Collision System provides drivers with automatic braking capability should the driver not be able to react in time in certain emergency situations. The PCS System not only detects vehicles ahead but also is able to detect a bicyclist and even a pedestrian in low light situations. The Sienna also comes standard with Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA).

  A new feature called Rear Seat Reminder designed with family safety in mind detects a rear occupant based on door sequencing logic where the Combi Meter MID provides a warning “Attention: Check rear seat for passengers and cargo.”

Fuel Economy

The 2021 Toyota Sienna comes with a significant engineering advancement, the hybrid powertrain. The Toyota Hybrid System II delivers 243 total horsepower and a manufacturer estimated 33 combined MPG fuel economy. This sets a benchmark for the segment and allows the Sienna to operate seamlessly. The Sienna accelerates smoothly with very little noise. However what is noticeable is the kick in low-speed torque from the two electric motors that work together with the high-efficiency 2.5-liter DOHC four-cylinder engine.    Another perk of the redesigned all-hybrid vehicle is there is no need to ever recharge the hybrid battery pack. With no plug, the Toyota Hybrid System II automatically charges the hybrid battery automatically while the vehicle drives.

Entertainment for All

Got devices? With a tech upgrade the Sienna comes with a multitude of connectivity and entertainment with an all new Toyota Audio systems which offers something for everyone aboard. The Toyota Audio systems includes: 

• Toyota Audio (standard on LE grade): includes a 9-in. touch-screen, 6 speakers, AM/FM, Android Auto TM , Apple CarPlay® and Amazon Alexa compatibility; 7 USB ports; hands-free phone capability, advanced voice recognition and music streaming via Bluetooth® wireless technology, and SiriusXM® with 3-month All Access trial. Toyota Connected Services include Safety Connect® with 1-year trial and Wi-Fi Connect capability.
• Toyota Premium Audio with Dynamic Navigation and JBL® Premium Audio (standard on Limited and Platinum, optional for XLE and XSE): including 12 speakers including subwoofer and 1,200-watt amplification.

Toyota Limited Warranty

The 2021 Toyota Sienna is also covered by Toyota’s new-vehicle basic limited warranty; 36 month 36,000 mile which applies to all components other than normal wear and maintenance. Toyota also provides 60 month warranties which cover the powertrain up to 60,000 miles and against perforation due to corrosion for 60 months with no limitation on mileage. To cover hybrid-related components that require repairs needed to correct defects in materials or workmanship are covered for 8 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first when sold as new from the original date of first use. Additionally the HV battery is covered for 10 years or 150,000 miles whichever comes first and is transferable across ownership.

Hybrid Done Right

The all-hybrid Sienna will be available in LE, XLE and Limited trims including an all new ‘sporty’ XSE model and a range-topping Platinum trim. Starting sticker price is anticipated to fall in the low-$30,000 range for lower trim models and top Limited and Platinum trims will likely top $50,000 when fully loaded.
