The 2021 Honda Accord Re-Fresh
January 18 2021 - Nathan Rodriguez

The 2021 Honda Accord sports upgraded styling, tech, and safety. In the 10th generation the Accord receives a light refresh but it doesn't change many of the features that make it a favorite! Keep reading to learn more! There are six trim levels for the 2021 Accord and four for the Accord Hybrid. The lineup starts with a 192-hp turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder. The top two trim levels, Sport 2.0T and Touring, get the turbocharged 2.0-liter engine and 10-speed automatic, while the four others (LX, Sport, Sport SE, and EX-L) get the turbo 1.5-liter and the CVT. We've got some bad news for smaller groups that enjoyed shifting Honda's sweet-driving sedan for themselves. Sadly, Honda has dropped the Accord's six-speed manual transmission option. New for 2021, Honda introduces the Sport SE which includes leather seats—heated in front—plus a 12-way power driver's seat and a remote-entry system, none of which is offered on the Sport.

For 2021, new and improved features include a 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen with standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability on all trim levels. EX-L and Touring trims receive an upgrade to wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration. The combination of both wireless charging and smartphone eliminates the need to physically connect your phone while freeing up additional USB ports. Other standard upgrades include rear-seat-occupant and rear-seatbelt reminders, reminding the driver to check the backseat for passengers and alerting drivers if a rear-seat occupant is not wearing their seatbelt.

The grille takes center stage as the focus of the 2021 cosmetic redesign with slightly wider with new LED headlamps to improve longer and wider down-the-road illumination. The restyled grille also allows for improved integration of Honda's Sensing® system's radar unit; standard adaptive cruise control and automated emergency braking functions. Also new, are smaller openings for the fog lights. An array of standard driver-assistance features puts crucial crash-avoidance technologies in every Accord, including automated emergency braking and lane-keeping assist. That doesn't mean that every piece of safety tech is standard, however. Blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and parking sensors still cost extra. Additionally , LX, EX-L and Touring trims all receive a new alloy wheel design, while a new color; Sonic Grey Pearl Sport, Sport Special Edition (SE) and Touring trims
