Wilbraham, Massachusetts – Lia Toyota of Wilbraham donated $25 for every test drive taken through the end of March to raise funds for Baystate Children’s Hospital. John Kupec presented a check for $15,000 on April 22 at 1:00 pm at Lia Toyota of Wilbraham, located at 2145 Boston Rd in Wilbraham, Massachusetts. The money Lia raised went towards the 20th Annual Radiothon for Baystate Children’s Hospital, which took place on March 8 and 9, 2021.
“We are so proud and humbled to be contributing toward fundraising efforts for this exceptional children’s hospital”, said Michael Lia, Co-Owner, Lia Auto Group.
Baystate Children’s Hospital is an outstanding medical facility already, but a $15,000 donation will go a long way to make it even greater! In fact, about 50% of local pediatricians are trained at Baystate Children’s Hospital.
Baystate Children’s Hospital is a 110-bed and bassinet hospital located within Baystate Medical Center, and is proud to be the region’s only Children’s Miracle Network Hospital (CMN). It is also the only accredited full-service children’s hospital in western Massachusetts, and provides primary and advanced medical care to babies, children, and adolescents and their families.
Additionally, Baystate Children’s Hospital currently features the region’s only neonatal and pediatric intensive care unit. Baystate Children’s Hospital also includes the only emergency department specifically designed for children in the area, the Sadowsky Family Pediatric Emergency Department, as well as the regions only Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Center.
