Northampton, Massachusetts – Lia Toyota of Northampton donated $5,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampshire County (BBBSHC). Myron Callender, the General Manager presented a check for $5,000 during the check presentation that took place on May 20 at 12:30p at Lia Toyota of Northampton, 280 King St, Northampton, Massachusetts. The money Lia is donated went toward the annual Daffodil Run held virtually on April 25, 2021.

“We are so proud to be contributing to such a wonderful organization that does so much for our youth in Hampshire County and Western Massachusetts”, said Michael Lia, Co-Owner, Lia Auto Group.
Though not celebrated in person this year, the Daffodil Run raised over $52,000 for BBBSHC. The organization celebrated community while raising essential mentoring service funds for youth in the area.
The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampshire County’s is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. It helps families make important connections and gain access to vital resources by matching adult volunteers with kids ages 6 to 18. Through these meaningful matches, the BBBSHC team, parents, guardians, volunteer mentors, and community partners support young people as they develop positive, transformational relationships.
