One of our favorite parts about the Jeep brand is the Easter Eggs you can find on the vehicles. Have you found every secret your Jeep holds inside and out? Join the hunt to find them all on your Jeep!
There are a lot of things that make Jeep vehicles unique. Mainly, these vehicles are geared toward off-road adventure, so they have extra features and capabilities that can take on the toughest terrain. People who have Jeep vehicles are also instantly part of the community of off-road adventure. There is another unique feature that Jeep vehicles have, and it is that they have hidden “Easter eggs” in their vehicles.
The First Jeep Easter Egg
Jeeps made since the ‘90s have been littered with unique Easter eggs. Hence its time that all the jeep owners took a long hard look into those ignored corners of their jeeps. The American automobile brand Jeep has been mastering the placement of Easter eggs on their cars for the past 23 years. Jeeps first ever Easter egg was on the ’97 Wrangler. It was the iconic seven-bar grille hidden in the cowl. Since then Jeep started placing the Easter eggs more carefully. One of these well-hidden objects is the vintage Willys jeep driving on the windshield.
A social media challenge has reignited interest in a long-running initiative from the off-road brand. Jeep owners are taking to social media to share the 'Easter eggs' – hidden symbols or messages tucked away in hard-to-find places on the vehicle – after a viral video highlighted the off-road brand's tradition of concealing logos in its cars. They are loosely referred to as 'Easter eggs' because the search for them is much like a hunt for hidden chocolate eggs at Easter. Most of the times it can be a secret bonus for the person who finds it. The signature marks change from vehicle to vehicle and are always specific to the model in which it appears. These designs are small paintings or carvings of animals or other characters.
Recently, there have been several TikToks that have gone viral where people have been showing the Easter eggs they have found on their vehicles. People have found spiders, lizards, outlines of Jeeps, maps, trail coordinates, and more. Easter Eggs have been discovered on headlights, taillights, rear view mirrors, door speakers, cupholders, fuel door, and the inside of the liftgate among other locations.
