The Lia Group has worked with many amazing charitable organizations this year.  Some of our achievements include:

American Cancer Society -April, June, Sept, and October 2022
Lia Auto Group is a proud sponsor of the American Cancer Society, participating in such events as Real Men Wear Pink, Gala of Hope, Red, White and Blue Party and Coaches vs Cancer. This year Lia donated $34,000 towards the fight against cancer!

Salvation Army of Springfield - December 2022
Lia Toyota of Wilbraham supported the Salvation Army with a donation of $5,000. The money went towards coat vouchers for the children. We are happy to continually support their efforts to help children in Springfield.

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - October 2022
Lia Auto Group has supported the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for many years. This year was no different, supporting the Light the Night Walk in NY and MA taking place in October. Lia donated $32,750 toward the fight against blood cancers!

Alzheimer’s Association - June and October 2022
This year Lia donated $30,000 to help fight this devastating disease that affects so many people. Lia participates yearly, sponsoring the annual gala, Evening to End Alzheimer’s and this year we employees also participated in a “Walk to end Alzheimer’s in both MA and NY that took place in October.

BBBS Rockland County – Spring 2022
Lia Toyota of Rockland is donating $10,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rockland County. The money donated went towards their Court Ordered Visitation Program.

Bridges - Spring 2022
Lia Toyota of Rockland is donating $10,000 to BRIDGES Rockland Independent Living Center. The money donated to BRIDGES went towards their Accessible Veteran’s Transportation Program.

Center for Disability Services – July 2022
Lia donated $5,000 to the Center for Disability Services this year by supporting the Siro’s Cup. The Center provides continuous care for our aging population.

Albany Sports Group – July and October 2022
Lia donated once again to the Pro-Am Golf tournament and Oktoberfest 5K, both organized on by the Albany Sports Group, giving $2,500 to each. The Albany Sports Group is a not for profit organization whose mission is to promote youth development in sports through competitive athletics and other diverse programs. Both events benefited CDPHP The Foundation.

American Red Cross – February 2022
The American Red Cross is a non-profit humanitarian organization that provides emergency assistance, disaster relief, and disaster preparedness education in the United States. This year Lia donated $10,425 that went to support Fire & Ice gala and the 365 Giving Campaign, helping to save lives with the gift of blood that helps save lives all year round.

CM Fox Golf Tournament – September 2022
Lia donated $2,500 plus provided a Hole in one vehicle for their annual golf tournament. The proceeds from this annual event goes towards supporting local charitable organizations, businesses and families.

Folds of Honor - October 2022
Lia donated $5,000 to Folds of Honor this year. The organization provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of military members who have fallen or been disabled while serving in the United States Armed Forces. A private concert was held where two trucks were on display.

Food Bank of Western NY – Holiday 2022
Lia Toyota of Northampton, Lia Honda of Northampton and Lia CJDR of Northampton donated $3,000 to the Food Bank of Western Mass this year, helping to fight hunger in Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden and Hampshire counties. The dealership collected donations throughout the holiday season and offered 20% off their service bill with a donation. A check will be presented to the organization on December 15th.

Hammy Rel13f Fund – October 2022
Lia sponsored the Hammy Rel13f Fund Annual Golf tournament. A hole in one vehicle was provided as well as a donation of $4,500 that will go towards the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund.

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation – September 2022
Lia donated $22,000 to JDRF this year helping to find a cure for juvenile diabetes. Employees participated in their annual golf outing, One Hope Ball and various JDRF One Walks in CT and NY taking place in the fall.

Jimmy Fund
Lia donated $6,000 to the Jimmy Fund this year through all 3 Hyundai stores in NY and CT. The Jimmy Fund supports the fight against cancer at Boston's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Life Path – July 2022
Lia donated $4,900 LifePath this year, supporting their Annual Travers Soire. LifePath serves individuals and families impacted by behavioral health, intellectual or developmental challenges.

New Directions Youth & Family Services – Holiday 2022
Lia donated $2,500 to New Directions this holiday season and customers enjoyed 20% off their service appointment with a donation to the organization. New Directions fosters resilient, self-reliant families and permanence for at-risk children.

Saratoga Hospital – September 2022
Lia provided a hole in one vehicle for Saratoga Hospital’s annual golf tournament this year, as well as donating $2,500 to the organization. Saratoga Hospital is part of the Albany Med Health System providing care throughout Saratoga County.

Schenectady City Mission – September 2022
Lia donated $5,000 to the Schenectady City Mission this year, participating in their golf tournament. Lia is proud to help the mission in their goal to meet the needs of the poor in a manner that dignifies and strengthens the individual, family, community.

Sisters of St. Joseph of Corondelet
The Sisters of St Joseph of Carondelet is a community of vowed Catholic women that who live and minister in the U.S. and around the world. Through their our Mission hey work with and support a diverse array of ministries. Lia will sponsor the annual golf tournament that takes place in May of 2023 and has already provided a donation of $2,500.

South End Children’s Café – June 2022
Lia sponsored the South End Children’s Café this year by donating $3,000 to the 6th Annual Recipe for Success. We are proud to be a part of their mission that impacts food security and addresses food equality and food justice among other services.

Special Olympics – July 2022
Lia donated $3,500 this year to Special Olympics, supporting two events: Night of Champions and Healthy Food Court – both benefitting Special Olympics athletes.

Thomas Patrick Morrison Foundation – March and September 2022
Lia donates every year to the Thomas Patrick Morrison Foundation. They provide assistance to families of sick children by making direct grants or payment of medical and other living expenses. This year donated a total of $3,000 to the Fashioned by Friendship event and the annual golf tournament. They also provided a hole in one vehicle for the golf tournament.

Things of My Very Own – Holidays 2022
Lia donated twice to Things Of My Very Own this year. $2,000 was donated by Lia Infiniti and Lia Auto Group donated $5,000 during the holidays. Customers of Lia also received 20% off their service appointment with a donation item during the holiday drive. A check will be presented on December 14th. The organization’s goal is to keep children together with non-abusive family members and out of the foster care system, whenever possible.

To Life! – February and October 2022
To Life! provides personal support, empowers informed decision-making, and enhances the quality of life to those affected by breast cancer. This year Lia donated $3,000 to the organization supporting their Pink Ball and the Siena Women's Pink zone game.

BBBS of Hampshire County/CHD – April 2022
Lia donated $5,000 to BBBS of Hampshire County this year. They are part of the Center for Human Development (CHD), which provides a broad range of high-quality, community-oriented human services dedicated to promoting, enhancing and protecting the dignity and welfare of people in need. The dealership also held a car show at the store.

Safe Passage – December 2022
Safe Passage is dedicated to creating a world free of domestic violence and relationship abuse. This year, like past years, Lia donated $5,000 towards their Hot Chocolate Run as the Red Ribbon sponsor.

Salvation Army of Springfield MA - Holidays
Lia Toyota of Wilbraham donated $5,000 to the Salvation Army as well as collect coats for those in need. The organization is dedicated to doing the most good by providing various programs and services throughout the Greater Springfield area.

Shriner’s Hospitals for Children
Shriner’s Hospitals for Children brings hope and healing and are driven to make lives richer, easier and less complex for children and families in Massachusetts and beyond. The MA and Enfield, CT Lia dealerships donated $12,000 this year which went towards their Hot Wheel mobility vehicles and Putting for a Purpose golf tournament. Lia also donated to their car show.

Springfield Rescue Mission
Lia donated $6000 the Springfield rescue mission, the money going to various services such as Food Services, Give Away Center, Emergency Shelter and Men’s Rehabilitation Center.

Strong Young Minds – June and December 2022
Strong Young Minds mission is to inspire inner city youth to pursue their dreams by organizing events that provide resources , highlight diversity, culture and unity. They also build programs that build self-esteem and financial awareness. This year Lia Toyota of supported the organization with a donation of $6,000.

Enfield Food Shelf – Holidays 2022
The Enfield Food Shelf’s legacy is to assure that no Enfield, CT resident will be without food. Lia is collecting donations for the organization and donating $3,000. Customers of the Enfield Lia dealers will also benefit from 20% off their service bill with a donation item.

Town of Enfield – July 2022
The Lia Enfield dealerships once again sponsored the annual 4th of July town parade, donating $5,000 as the Official Car Sponsor.
