Lia Toyota of Wilbraham Makes Sizable Donation to Baystate Children's Hospital

Lia Toyota in Wilbraham is one of four family-owned Toyota dealerships within the Lia Auto Group.  Last month their sales team decided to set aside a portion of the proceeds from every vehicle sold for a month to raise money for the Baystate Children's Hospital in Springfield.  The results were outstanding.

On December 18, 2018, at 3:00 pm, the Michael Lia and John Kupec, General Manager of Lia Toyota Wilbraham, presented the Baystate Children’s Hospital with a check for $10,000!

Baystate Childrens Hospital is a Premiere New England Medical Facility

Baystate Chidren's Hospital (BCH) is an outstanding medical facility already, but there is no doubt that this donation will go a long way to towards the future. The hospital currently provides specialty pediatric hematology/oncology services and help to educate the pediatricians of the future as well. In fact, about 50% of local pediatricians are trained at there.

They house a 110-bed and 57-bassinet hospital located within Baystate Medical Center. It is the only accredited full-service children’s hospital in western Massachusetts and provides primary and advanced medical care to babies, children, adolescents and their families.

You will find that they also have the region’s only neonatal and pediatric intensive care unit. Plus, BCH includes the only emergency department specifically designed for children in the area, the Sadowsky Family Pediatric Emergency Department, as well as the regions only Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Center.
