The mission of the Epilepsy Foundation is to lead the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives. Epilepsy is the fourth most common neurological disorder in the world. If you have epilepsy, surges of electrical activity in your brain can cause recurring seizures. With more than 3.4 million people living with epilepsy nationwide, the impact of their work matters. This year the Lia Auto Group sponsored the Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern NY’s Confections in Chocolate Event held April 2 by donating $2,000.  “We are proud to be contributing towards research of this devasting disease that can happen to anyone at any point in their lives” said Michael Lia, Co-Owner, Lia Auto Group.
