Lia Toyota of Wilbraham for the 5th consecutive year is supporting Baystate Children’s Hospital. John Kupec General Manager presented a check for $15,000 on Friday March 4th at 1:30pm at Lia Toyota of Wilbraham, located at 2145 Boston Rd in Wilbraham, Massachusetts. The money donated will go towards the 21st Annual Radiothon for Baystate Children’s Hospital, which takes place on March 8th and 9th, 2022. “We love our partnership with Baystate Hospital, we look forward to the Radiothon and take pride in supporting this amazing organization each year not only with a donation but with our time as we have volunteers who participate as well. It’s an important part of our company’s mission and vision to get involved and stay involved in the community, said Michael Lia, Co-Owner, Lia Auto Group.
Baystate Children’s Hospital is an outstanding medical facility already, however a $15,000 donation will go a long way to make it even greater! In fact, about 50% of local pediatricians are trained at Baystate Children’s Hospital.
Baystate Children’s Hospital is a 110-bed and 57-bassinette hospital located within Baystate Medical Center, and is proud to be the region’s only Children’s Miracle Network Hospital (CMN). It is also the only accredited full-service children’s hospital in western Massachusetts, and provides primary and advanced medical care to babies, children, and adolescents and their families.
Additionally, Baystate Children’s Hospital currently features the region’s only neonatal and pediatric intensive care unit. Baystate Children’s Hospital also includes the only emergency department specifically designed for children in the area, the Sadowsky Family Pediatric Emergency Department, as well as the regions only Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Center.
